It has been a long time since our last update, but we've still been busy with the rescue! We have quite a few new guinea pigs listed for adoption so please feel free to have a browse.

We have eight new cavies into the rescue last Sunday! These pigs were dumped in a soggy cardboard box, no food or water - but were rescued and later brought to the rescue. All pigs have terrible mange, but are now on the mend. There are six males and two females, all very young. Photos can be found here. If you are interested in any of these pigs please email us!

Abella, Zuri and Odette have been added to the adoptable cavy page!
I finally got around to fixing up the links page, and have done the basics of the cages page. I'll be adding photos of the rescue set up in the next few days as well hopefully - although it's filled with all sorts of odd things at the moment because our house is currently undergoing renovations and storage space is tight!!
Eight guinea pigs are coming into the rescue tomorrow that were found dumped in a box in a park and picked up by a kind family.

Monday, 16th April 2007
Three sows were surrendered into the rescue yesterday, about 6 months old. Two pretty shorthairs and an abby x. Two of them are suffering from mange, with one of those having a terrible case of bumblefoot from being kept on wire flooring. They will hopefully all be adopted out together when they are all healthy!
Lady has been added to the adoptable cavies section.

All of our current rescue pigs have been rehomed! This is great news not only for the pigs, but also because we'll now have room for more homeless cavies and (hopefully) rabbits.
A very special thank you to Gary.V for his incredibly generous donation of two brand new dog play-pens, just what we needed to allow the rabbits safe grass-time! We're sure Carlos will be very happy in his new home as well. On behalf of all the buns and pigs, thank you!

All our adoptable cavies should be going to their new homes at the end of the week. We have one new sow into the rescue, a beautiful 2 year old by the name of Lady. We're seriously considering keeping her as one of our own, she's a beautiful pig!

Two new sows have been surrendered into the rescue - photos of these pigs and the other new girls up by tomorrow.

Sunday, 21st January 2007
The three sows have arrived - 2 adults and a baby. The two adult girls might be pregnant, so they won't be up for adoption until we can be sure they aren't or they have their litters. They are all pretty skittish at the moment, but we're handling them daily and they will improve in time.

We've added a "Cages" and "Donate" page to the navigation menu - and changed the "Cavy Care" to "Cavy and Rabbit Care". We've also added a guestbook!

The No Petshops!, Fostering and Cavy Care pages are now completed. More photos of the rabbit adoptables have been added.

New cavies will be coming into the rescue in the next week - three young sows.
